Happy Thanksgiving! By the end of the day, you’re probably worn out, full, and happily relaxing after a day filled with food and family…
… here in Sarasota, of course, that’s just the beginning of the fun!
After Thanksgiving weekend, be sure to stick around for Sarasota’s Holiday Night on St. Armands. This must-do family event, which takes place December 1st, promises glowing holiday fun and a chance to embrace the start of the holiday season… all taking place in the heart of Florida’s West Coast paradise.
Take a look below to learn more and get details about this exciting event.
Get some holiday shopping done early
While the actual events don’t start until 5:30 pm, consider getting to St. Armands early—as there is still plenty to do and see! Knock out some holiday shopping at one of the many beautiful shops and boutiques, or grab an early dinner with the family.
Stick around for Santa and the show
Following a special performance at 5:30, a Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long at 6:00 is sure to please… and we’re sure you know at least a few of those classic holiday tunes! Following the Sing-a-Long, keep an eye out for Santa who’s set to arrive in his sleigh, after which there will be plenty of great photo ops for the kids. The whole family can watch, in awe, as St. Armands’ tree is lit, flooding the Circle with a warm glow that’s sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
You can also visit the St. Armands Key Lutheran Church to take a look at their live nativity scene. It’s a great way to usher in the season with family by your side!
We hope you enjoy this year’s event! It’s just the start of great fun to come here on Florida’s West Coast… and from your Sarasota home, you’re perfectly positioned to experience it all.
